Netflix Series You Have To Binge In Lockdown
I don't know about you but Netflix is literally my bff right now. I love nothing more than getting cosy on the sofa with a cuppa (or even sometimes a cheeky glass of wine) and putting on my latest binge-worthy show.
Yes we all know you loved Tiger King and Stranger Things, but there's soooo much choice on Netflix. So, here are my top Netflix series you just cannot go through lockdown without:
GOSSIP GIRL
TOO HOT TO HANDLE
Love Island may have been cancelled this year, but don't despair! Too Hot To Handle is Love Island with new twists, hotties from around the WORLD and a reunion at the end. Oh wait, but they can't touch each other! Every time these horny singles even so much a peck their healthy prize sum gets reduced. There's only nine episodes, so this one is super easy to binge. But, apologies in advance, it's going to make you want to go on holiday.
AFTER LIFE
This is just classic Ricky Gervais. What more do I need to say? After Life is both hilarious and devastating and it will have you hooked. It's a Netflix Original and there are two series at the moment, with a third in the pipe line. The story follows widower Tony, a local newspaper journalist, as he copes with the tragic death of his wife. He's a cantankerous and moody bloke who's best friends are his postie and a 'sex worker'. The only problem is, you won't want to have to wait for series three!
UNBELIEVABLE
Another award-winning Netflix Original, and one for any lover of true crime. Unbelievable is based on a news article from 2015 about a girl who was horrifically raped in her home. After going over her story police didn't believe her, and she even wasn't sure if she believed herself, until two detectives start to look into it. There are some pretty gritty and unsettling scenes in this show, but it's sure to get you hooked.
THE STRANGER
WHITE GOLD
Oh hi, if you're still here! Remember I said how you're going to/already have fallen in love with Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass? Well, you're welcome because Ed Westwick is back to wow you in White Gold too. This time he's a sexy, but slightly dodgy, Essex salesman in the 80s. There's two series of the witty comedy for you to binge over on Netflix, and if you're a fan of The Inbetweeners you'll be pleased to see Joe Thomas and James Buckley working in the window showroom too!
SEX EDUCATION
Okay if you want something that is laugh-out-loud funny then Sex Education is the show for you! Just maybe avoid watching it with your parents! Teenager Otis's mum is a sex therapist (awwwwkkkkssss) and when the kids at his school get wind of his knowledge of sex and relationships he and bad-girl Maeve set up an underground business to help our their classmates. What could possibly go wrong?! You're going to be howling at this show!
